David Bowie is 50 this month! He shares his birthday with another rock legend, Elvis Presley. Look at the text below. Notice anything slightly weird? Our reporter has mixed up facts about Elvis and David. Can you unjumble the two life stories? You'll find the answers below.

He was born in London in 1947. His twin brother died at birth. In 1948, when he was 13, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee. His father bought him a guitar for his birthday. At school in the sixties, he played saxophone in a group called The Conrads. After he left school in 1954, he got a job as a lorry driver. In 1965 he changed his name to that of a Wild West hero who'd invented a hunting knife. He made his first record for his mother's birthday. But he had to wait many years before his first hit. It came in 1956 and was called Heartbreak Hotel. It sold over a million copies. His sexy movements on stage made him very unpopular with the older generation. In fact, he was once described as "the most dangerous thing to hit civilisation since the atom bomb". He's always been famous for creating exotic new images for himself and he once caused a sensation when he told a newspaper that he was gay. In 1967 he married Priscilla Beaumont. Then in 1970 he married Angie Barnett. They had one son called Zowie and a daughter, Lisa Marie. He made thirty-three movies, including King Creole, The Hunger and Merry Christmas Mister Lawrence. In 1977 he died of a heart attack. A few years later he embarked on a world tour. He now lives in Switzerland with his second wife, the model Iman. He has sold over a billion records worldwide, and his mansion is now a museum. In 1994 his daughter caused a sensation by marrying Michael Jackson.
